Dear wonderful 6th grade science student,
I miss and can't wait to see you all again! I hope you are getting outside lots, reading, cooking, and enjoying this quiet time in all of our lives.
If you have not visiting Science World and logged in with the above password, please do. There are so many create articles, both current and past for you to explore! We are working on plans on how to move forward at his time. Tomorrow I will attend my first virtual meeting, if all goes well:)
I am exploring technology and trying to get my creative juices flowing on how to teach in a very unfamiliar format. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
Remember you could be doing the 3rd marking period extra credit, which was a food web from an ecosystem of your choosing. You need to label producers with a P and Consumers with a C. Choose 1 organism from your web and say what would happen if there was an over-populations, and one organism and say what would happen if there was an underpopulation (a sudden loss of a species due to disaster, disease, or over-hunting for instance.). You could take a picture of your work and send it to my e-mail for grading.
Take care and stay healthy!
Love,
Ms. Y
